Lens Baby 3G in Scituate Harbor!

Melis and I took a nice long walk today in our old stomping grounds - Scituate Harbor. I brought my camera and new lens with me. It's a Lens Baby 3G. It has a sweet spot of selective focus and everything else has a cool, funky blur to it. To me it makes things look like they have been miniaturized somehow. Everything is manual - the focus, shutter speed and aperture. It's very cool and I will be breaking it out at weddings for some funky shots soon. In the meantime enjoy some Lens Baby shots from Scituate Harbor!

Indigo - Stationery Studio

Our friend, Kathy Leonard recently opened up a great shop called "Indigo" in Marshfield. We stopped in to take some photos for her. She has such a cool mix of stuff! It's a great place to go for wedding invitations, bridesmaid's gifts, favors and guest gift baskets. And if you like beach themes this is the place to shop. She was nice enough to let us display some of our new canvas gallery wraps - you can see the lobster tail and harbor seal in some of the shots below. Check out the custom beach rock coat hanger - the one with the 4 rounded beach rocks that has the lone bag hanging on it. Nice stuff! Indigo is located at 1289 Ocean Street in Marshield on your way down to the beaches. Stop in and shop!

real signs of spring!

Weatherwise here in Marshfield it has been tough to believe it is actually spring. The last few days changed our minds. It was so nice outside! Melis and I went for a walk at the North River Wildlife Sanctuary and then over to Scituate Harbor. The frogs were belting out tunes and the beach roses were ready to bloom!

Easter Sunday

This year was our turn to have the family over. It was cold but still sunny. We had a successful egg hunt and threw in a game of tag to boot...

Erin & Peter - an irish event...

I'm Irish, Melissa is Irish, Erin & Peter are Irish, the band was Irish - what could be better! The wedding was awesome. The band was Erin's Melody and we would recommend them to anyone who loves great Irish music. They were phenomenal - the dancing never stopped and neither did the bride, groom, family & guests. We love weddings like this!

Natalie & Eric - The Red Lion Inn

We had the honor of photographing Natalie & Eric's wedding this past Friday at the Red Lion Inn. It was a great day! The weather was nice, the families were so nice to work with and both the Flower Girl and Bride were red heads! Nothing like a beautiful bride with red hair! All 3 of my sisters and mother have red hair and when I first laid eyes on Melissa I thought she was a red head. I'll never live that one down. She's blonde. It was at a bar and the lights were red. And maybe my eyes were too... Anyways here are some of our favorites from Natalie & Eric's wedding.
