Nantucket - Our 10 Year Anniversary!

Melissa and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary in style in Nantucket. The weather was perfect and so were the mojitos! She is the love of my life and it was awesome spending time there with her. It was a nice escape from the crazy busy wedding season we are having. Now we are back and refreshed ready for all our bride & grooms! Here are some images from one of our favorite islands (check out the shrimp nibbling my toes):

Laurie & Chris - Ocean Edge Resort and Club

Another beautiful bride making our job easy... Laurie and Chris had a perfect day for a wedding on the Cape. Ocean Edge Resort is an amazing location with a private beach that is incredible. Add a nice, young, good looking couple with a great wedding party and it's the perfect mix for great photos. Take a look:

Emily & Bo engagements

We met Emily & Bo the same day we shot their engagements. And we lucked out - they were super nice and very down to earth. They were also pretty agile rock climbers. We got some great shots before the sun went down in Scituate. We managed to get Daisy the new puppy into some of the shots also! Here are a few favorites:

Formal bunny

Every now and then it pays to be in the right place at the right time. With a camera ready to shoot helps too. Check out this rabbit hanging out while Melis is lining everyone up for a shot. I told the bride it was my favorite shot of the day and she agreed after seeing the slide show at the reception!

Feeding the ducks in Scituate Harbor

Melis and I had some fun feeding... or trying to feed the ducks the other day. Those geese are crazy!

Jenn & Scott - New Seabury Country Club, Mashpee

I don't think a second went by when Jenn was not smiling. That's a good thing - it is her wedding day. But...... she had a broken collarbone!! It didn't phase her one bit. Jenn and Scott had perfect weather for the convoy of at least 11 golf carts down to the beach. DJ Danny Walsh did an exceptional job of pumping out the tunes and keeping everyone on the dance floor. Hobart's Fine Florals provided the gorgeous flowers and Sweet Alternatives did an amazing job with the cupcake tower!

Jennifer & Jake - Engagements in Sandwich

Another perfect night for photos! Jennifer & Jake introduced us to the Sandwich boardwalk which is my new favorite place. It's this long boardwalk with no railing that leads to the beach and goes over the marsh/river. There is a bridge over the deeper part and it's such a cool location. I'll be jumping off it sometime this summer for sure. They also purchased a custom plank on the boardwalk with the phrase you'll see in some photos. A very cool idea and perfect for engagements. They are in love and the boardwalk says so! They are quite a nice couple and we had a great time with them.

July 03, 2007 - Fireworks in Rexhame!

I love the 3rd of July in Marshfield! There's nothing like being on the beach watching amateurs set off their fireworks. Every neighbor tries to outdo last year and each other. It's such a great tradition and the show is better than being in Boston because there is always the risk of getting blown up. Plus you can get real close for some great shots...
